A
User can access only
those Libraries for which an Owner or Librarian has
given authority.
They may be able to add, delete or change items in a library depending on
the rights that the librarian has given them.
Passwords are easily
forgotten. Don't worry about it! Simply click on
"Forgotten yours?" at the top of the Alextra home page
(http://www.alextra.com).
You will be asked to send us your email address. We will send back a
reminder of your password.
A viewer (sometimes called a
plug-in) is a piece of software that allows you to view a
file even if you don't have the program in which the file
was originally created. For example, you can use the Autodesk
Whip! viewer to look at AutoCAD dwf files even if you do
not have AutoCAD installed on your computer.
New items are added to a library by the Owner
(or Librarian), unless authority
has been passed onto a User. If you have authority to add items you will
see "Add New Item" at the top of the Library Item List. Click on "Add New Item". Enter
the details shown.
Check that you are using the correct email address. Is it the
same as the one you submitted when opening the account or for
Users, is it the same as that given to you by Alextra. Also ensure that
the password is correctly entered. Note that passwords are CaSe
